AirAsia is extending the period to obtain credit account or full refund for guests with flight bookings to/from mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao (Excluding Taiwan) until 31 March 2020.

Special Note for passengers who apply for refund during 14 Feb 2020 ~ 18 Feb 2020 (until 6:30PM) , your application might not be affected by the new memo, please monitor your case status from time to time.

Refund requests can be made with AVA at support.airasia.com. From the main menu categories available, click on “Refund” then “New Refund Request” and finally “AirAsia flights to/from Wuhan” for flights to/from Wuhan OR “China Voluntary Refund” for flights to/from China destinations, including Hong Kong and Macao and Taiwan. From there, simply follow the instructions as directed by AVA.

Malaysia Airlines

In light of this situation, passengers holding Malaysia Airlines confirmed tickets issued for travel from 28 Jan until 31 Mar 2020 to/from mainland China (Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Xiamen) will be permitted cancellation with full refund or a one-time flight change with waiver of change/cancellation fees (applies to partially used and wholly unused tickets).

For all passengers holding a valid Malindo Air (816) ticket to and from points in Mainland China and including Hong Kong, issued on/before 24 JAN 2020 and travelling to and from points in Mainland China and including Hong Kong between 24 JAN 2020 up to 29 FEB 2020 are given the option to Reroute or Full Refund.

Cathay Pacific

With immediate effect, rebooking, rerouting and refund charges will be waived for all tickets issued worldwide (irrespective of fare type) on/before 3 February 2020 for travel with Cathay Pacific/Cathay Dragon confirmed bookings arriving to or departing from Mainland China between 3 February 2020 and 31 March 2020.

No waiver on cancellation and refund charges for booking to/from/transit in Hong Kong.

Singapore Airlines

Singapore Airlines will waive all cancellation and change fees for customers with tickets issued on or before 5 February 2020 for travel on any Singapore Airlines or SilkAir operated flights from 1 February 2020 to 31 March 2020. The new travel date must commence on or before 31 May 2020.
